Powering the Sierra 1500 AT4 All Mountain concept is a 6.2-liter V8 engine. This reliable powertrain helps the custom concept vehicle deliver 240 horsepower and an impressive 480 lb-ft of torque.
The aggressive front grille boasts LED lighting and powerful headlights that can illuminate even the darkest mountain trails. For better ground clearance, this model even has a custom eight-inch lift, making this concept iteration of the GMC Sierra 1500 a fair bit taller than a traditional GMC Sierra pickup truck.
The GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 All Mountain concept vehicle isn’t currently available for purchase. Still, if you need a mass-market truck that you can rely on to get the job done, be sure to check out our lineup of GMC Sierra 1500 models when you visit Richard Karr Motors.
The 2019 GMC Sierra marks a new generation for the Sierra pickup, and with it come several changes, including new engine options with new Dynamic Fuel Management. Perhaps most notably, however, the 2019 Sierra 1500 boasts the new MultiPro™ tailgate, the one and only of its kind. This unique tailgate boasts six distinct functions that make loading and unloading cargo from the bed — as well as accessing the cargo bed — much easier.
Those six functions include:
Primary Gate Load Stop
Inner Gate Load Stop
Inner Gate with Work Surface
To celebrate this new pickup truck feature that no competitor is offering, the automaker ran a commercial during major football games. The new GMC Sierra ad, called “Anthem,” shows off the versatility of this MultiPro tailgate.
The ad, though unconventional, creatively shows off this
innovative feature. The ad features drivers of competing trucks detaching their
tailgates. Together, they journey to a hill, while singing Steam’s “Na Na Hey
Hey Kiss Him Goodbye.” At the crest of the hill, they find the GMC Sierra 1500 with
its owner, showing off the six unique functions of the tailgate.
Fortunately, you don’t have to summit a mountain to check out the new MultiPro™ tailgate. Just come in to Richard Karr Buick GMC, and check out the Sierra 1500.
It’s common knowledge that responsible drivers with safe driving habits are often eligible for insurance discounts. However, sometimes monitoring your driving habits for insurance purposes can be a hassle. The myBuick app upgrade is changing that. Not only will the app monitor driving habits and provide drivers with available insurance discounts, but it will also alert you about specific poor driving habits and offer tips for improving your driving tendencies.
Buick’s web-based Smart Driver service launched back in 2016, which used OnStar diagnostics to give drivers insight into their driving. It also allows users of the Smart Driver service to sign up for insurance discounts while keeping their information private. The Smart Driver services have now been integrated into the myBuick app to provide users with even more convenience and accessibility.
Regular reports from the myBuick app will inform drivers of their gas mileage, how often they make hard brakes or accelerate quickly, the frequency of high-speed or nighttime drives, and total miles they’ve driven. In addition to a Smart Driver score that rates safe driving habits, it will also provide tips for improving that score. As more drivers get access to the myBuick app upgrade, Buick expects the current number of Insurance Discounts Eligibility program members (approximately 100,000) to increase.
Besides pursuing safe driving habits, you can also choose a safe vehicle to enhance your protection on the road. Stop by Richard Karr Buick GMC to take one of our reliable models for a test drive.
