Unless you drive an electric car, getting gas is a frequent activity for any driver. Buick and ExxonMobile are making this activity even easier by offering in-dash fuel payment and savings options on eligible Buick vehicles.
This is a new update to the Marketplace system available on many new Buick infotainment system. It will allow drivers to pay for fuel without swiping a credit card or using a smartphone. When properly set up, the system will automatically connect to the driver’s ExxonMobile Speedpass™ account letting them accumulate rewards.
“Our goal with Marketplace is to help make everyday tasks as easy as possible for our customers so they can focus on enjoying time spent in their vehicles,” said Rick Ruskin, Marketplace Line of Business leader, Buick.
This service is available now at more than 11,000 Exxon or Mobil gas stations across the country. If you don’t already have an ExxonMobil Speedpass account, you can enroll for free through the Marketplace. From there, you can also find the nearest Exxon or Mobil gas station and set up your payment options.
When you arrive at the gas station, select the ExxonMobil icon within Marketplace. Then, select the pump number and confirm your payment method. The pump will then activate and you can start filling up your Buick.
