Buick customers are going wild over the luxury Avenir trim, and the automaker is looking to meet their demands. The Avenir trim is currently only available on the Buick Enclave and LaCrosse trims. According to a recent GM fleet order guide, the 2019 Buick Regal Sportback will be the next model to receive the Avenir treatment.
The midsize Buick Regal Sportback sedan will expand the Avenir offering to drivers who don’t want a crossover or full-size sedan. Notably, the Buick Regal TourX wagon won’t receive an Avenir trim this coming model year.
The 2019 Regal Avenir will feature a nine-speed automatic transmission that optimizes performance output and efficiency. Leather upholstery and an eight-speaker Bose® premium audio system lend a sophisticated vibe to the cabin. 19-inch Pearl Nickel wheels and distinctive badging make the Avenir trim stand out on the road.
The Buick’s Driver Confidence I package comes standard on the Regal Avenir trim. That package includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Alert, and Rear Park Assist. It also incorporates heated outside mirrors, as well as four-way lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat
The Driver Confidence II package elaborates on the previous package, but also includes Forward Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Pedestrian Braking, and Lane Keep Assist. Another perk of the Buick Regal Sportback Avenir is that it will cost less than the sport-inspired Regal GS.
